We’re excited to announce TECH SY will be at Climb24, the UK’s festival of innovation, industry and investment, which will return to Leeds on June 5th – 6th, 2024. Climb will be the first public unveiling of the innovative TECH SY project, funded by the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority to help scale up the regional tech ecosystem. TECH SY will be using Climb 24 to showcase its new ecosystem mapping partnership with Dealroom, highlighting the collaborations and partnerships that are powering the region.
Tracey Johnson, Project Director for TECH SY, said: “The South Yorkshire Ecosystem is growing, and TECH SY is here to help scale up that growth; working with our local authorities, educators, founders, funders and all other partners to be cohesive in our efforts. We couldn’t think of a better way to launch ourselves and our new ecosystem platform than at Climb.
Building on the success of Climb23, which brought together more than 1,500 delegates, 220 speakers and 150 active investors from across the world, Climb24 will showcase industry-leading innovation and provide investment-ready businesses with opportunities to make meaningful connections beyond their existing networks.
The event will feature keynotes, interactive workshops and panel discussions covering some of the latest trends and challenges for companies at all stages of their growth.
Featuring globally renowned speakers across the two days, and dedicated stages covering SaaS, CleanTech, AI and HealthTech, Climb24 will cover everything from securing talent, diversity and inclusion, sustainability and impact investment, to founder burnout and mental health awareness.
Tracey added: “TECH SY is about collaboration, so we’ll be bringing an exciting range of partners from all across the region to Climb. We’re excited to be plugged into the Climb network whilst being able to showcase the very best of South Yorkshire’s Tech Ecosystem, as well as demonstrating the landscape of the region with our platform.”
